how did the industrial revolution take place?
the industrial revolution, which toke place in the 18th & 19th centuries, was a period during which predominantly agrarian, rural societies in Europe and America became industrial and urban. prior to the industrial Revolution. which began in Britain late 1700's, manufacturing was often done in people's home's, or basic machines. industrialization marked a shifted to powered, special-purposed machinery, factories and mass production.
Factories began to replace small ''cottage'' industries. as the population grew so did wants and needs. Manufactories realized the bulk production was cheaper, more efficient and provided the quantity of items needed. as the result more and more factories sprang up.
