"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you, and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future."
-Jeremiah 29:11

-Holy Bible

I Believe in God's Love

I believe in the power of God’s hands,

the warmth of his love,

the paths that he draws,

the un-expected out comes,

the mercy he shows,

his blessings, his plans,his words,

But I do not believe in taking what God gives you for granted.

I believe in loving un lovable,

I believe in helping the un reachable

I believe in loving,

helping, reaching out, giving others hope,

And I believe in God’s love is the most indescribable, uncontainable form of love, because unlike the love of the world, it has no limits.

When No Words Help, These Do

For my personal credo, I chose a bible verse that I keep near to my heart at all times. While I do have one other, I find this one was the one I find myself turning to the most. The verse I chose is Jeremiah 29:11 which states “‘For I know the plans for you’ declares the Lord, ‘ Plans to prosper you, and not harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future’”.

I came across this verse while watching a movie with our church’s youth group. I had seen the movie several times, but that one night, this verse just spoke to me. That night, I just wrote this verse down in my bible and prayed about it.

This verse is important to me because it challenges me. In basic terms, it is God saying “Let go of everything, and trust me, because I know what plans I have for you, and I will not harm you”. I find peace in this verse, I find my place of rest.

As I grow older, I do think this verse will change into something more mature, but what that verse is yet, I have no idea. It honestly depends on what God does with my life and where he puts me.

This credo is significant to me because it gives me hope, and it gives me peace when I’m ever in trouble, or just don’t know what to do. It gives me peace and rest. I definitely already send this verse to anyone who is having any struggles, and every single one has found peace. I do this because this verse can help any situation. It is beneficial to others by just giving them peace and ease their mind and give them the strength to let go and just let God take control, because he knows what to do.
