Domain and Range

The domain is the x values and the the range is the y values

Domain and Range of a Table

In the table the domain values are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 The range is 15, 30, 45, 60, 75

Domain and Range of a Map

In the map the domain is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the range is -1, 2, 0, 3, 4, 7

# Domain and Range of a Graph

The domain of the graph is -1, 0, 1, 2 and the range is -1, 0, 1, 2

# Domain and Range of Ordered Pairs

(1,4) (2,5) (3,8) (4,10)

The domain of the ordered pairs are 1, 2, 3, 4 and the range is 4, 5, 8, 10

The domain and range switch when the when the equation is translated across the line y=x

So when the domain is -1, 0, 1, 2 and the range is -5, 0, 10, 15

Then to translate across the y=x the domain is -5, 0, 10, 15 and the range is -1, 0, 1, 2
