For Your Information:
December 8- 12, 2014

Please remember that the purpose of the morning meeting is to intentionally bond with your students and is expected to happen daily at Ross

We have a lot of exciting events coming up...

Thanks to all for making this season a festive, happy one for all of our students!  It can be a stressful time of year for many, but I am so proud of our team for smiling, hugging and loving children now more than ever!  They all need these things- some need it a little more and they may not show that need in the most loving ways!  Thank you for knowing this at Ross and for loving them anyway!  So proud of our team!!  Thank you!  Thank you! Thank you!

Last week we demonstrated how liquids take on the "shape" of the container that they are in. We had 3 different shaped containers holding one cup of colored water each and asked the students which container held the most and the least amount of liquid. They were amazed that they each held the exact amount of liquid. This week we will still reinforce the information on gases and how they also take on the "shape" of the container they are in. The students will also be introduced to molecules/atoms this week. The older students are still receiving information on "ffm" (force/friction/motion) through demonstrations with PE equipment.
