Plymouth Plantation

What do you think about the breakdown of people who traveled to the New World on the Mayflower?  What "I wonders" do you have about the videos you watched?

Why do you think the settlers risked their lives to travel to the New World?

I think that since they had a breakdown, they would have a really bad time. They would have no food and they will die

I think that every single thing that the pilgrims did was risky. To start off, they didn't know how to farm which caused them to get diseases and they couldn't survive. Also I think they risked their lives because in England there was no freedom, the king ruled everybody, so they moved to the new world taking many risks so that they could start a new life and live as one, happy, colony.

I think the pilgrims risked there life's because they wanted to live a free live and choice of religion and not have to listen to the rules in England

I think that it was really sad that most of the people died of starvation and disease and they didn't know how plant and did not know which plants would grow really good. But hen the Indians came,it was really good for them then. They survived, they got really good food, and they were really happy that the Indians had thought them how to survive and plant really good food.
