University Of Michigan A

When this university opened on September 28,1959 they started with 34 students, and since then they have grown to have 6,000 students today. On October 1962 they had their first graduation with 20 students earning their degrees. In 1969 four-year degree options were approved but weren't implemented until 1971. This is also the same time that their name changed to "The University of Michigan Dear-born".

I would like to attend this school because it has one of the best Athletic Training programs. I think that me attending this school, I would benefit from it very much because it would help me to succeed in my future. If I attend this school, it will help me pursue my future goal in athletic training.

I chose to follow the path of being an athletic trainer, because I don't like to be bored in a office all day. I would rather be doing something where I would be active all day, because I am the type of person who doesn't like to be bored. I always have to be doing something, so therefore I would love to accomplish this career in the future. This school has a really good program for athletic training.

Another reason why I chose this path is because it fits in the area that I love, and that is physical activity. When I am doing something that I love I become a better person than I already was. Being in the physical area can also build self esteem and character, and these two things are very important in the world.

A head athletic trainer has the rights to tape, strap, brace, and complete fittings on any athletic equipment. But in order to be able to do this job you have to have a minimum  of a bachelor's degree. The degree has to be in some type of medical field, but you have to have a current NATA BOC certification. To be able to handle this job you have to be able to handle blood and other types of body fluids. This also requires three to four years of athletic training, and one year of management in athletic training. If you are an athletic trainer for any type of professional league you will average out to 45,000 a year.
