When people worship animism, they are worshiping the spirits of nature. They often make monuments and statues and place them in places in nature where they believe they had a spiritual encounter with one of their ancestors. Animists believe that when a person dies, their spirit becomes something in nature like a tree or an animal. Animists don't like to waste things that come from nature. They use all that they can.
