Bucks journey in the wild
his lessons and experiences along the way
Buck was taken from his home and his life was turned around in an instant. He was taken and treated poorly. He was so confused and angry...he had been taken from everything he knew and was treated completely different. From then on he would have a new way of life.
BEING A SLED DOG
Buck was taken to be sold for a sled dog. He would be used for people interested in the gold rush or just traveling across the snowy terrain. Buck must learn how to survive in this new environment and adapt to it like seeing snow for the first time. He must learn how to pull the sled and get along with his team members while doing so.
Buck was tossed around to many different owners and some were not qualified to take care of him or his team. Buck and his team often were hungry and tired. They would have to suffer through until they made it to a town and were able to rest. It was a hard life being tossed around to different owners and never knowing what life will come of each one. At many times buck was so skinny from so little food he could barely stand.
GETTING INTO FIGHTS
Since Buck was so big he wanted to defend his spot as head of the pack. Buck got in to many fights trying to defend what was his or even just to put another member in their place. Buck was the favored dog of the pack most of the time because of his size, attitude, and his ability to do things the other members couldn't.
