Apollo missions are the space crafts that have been sent into space that are made by Nasa.

This is an overview of all the Apollo missions

Apollo 1 launched 27 January 1967 three Apollo astronauts died on launch.

Apollo 4 launched 22 January 1968 first all-up launch of Saturn V.

Apollo 5 launched 22 January 1968 first test of lunar module in space.

Apollo 6 launched 4 April 1968 Final uncrewed Apollo test flight.

Apollo 7 launched 11 October 1968 first crewed Apollo flight landed 22 October 1968.

Apollo 8 launched 21 December 1968 Lunar orbit and returned to earth 27 December 1968.

Apollo 9 launched 11 October 1969 First crewed lunar module test landed 13 March 1969.

Apollo 10 launched 18 May 1969 Lunar orbit and return to earth 26 March 1969.

Apollo 11 launched 16 July 1969 Landed on moon 20 July 1969 (sea of tranquility) returned 24 July.

Apollo 12  launched 14 November 1969 Landed on moon, returned to earth 24 November 1969.

Apollo 13 launched 11 April 1970 Lunar flyby and return because of a malfunction That Forced cancellation of lunar landing returned to earth 17 April 1970.

Apollo 14 launched 31 January 1971 landed on moon 5 February 1971 (far Munro) returned to earth 9 February 1971.

Apollo 15 launched 26 July 1971 landed on moon 30 July 1971 (hadly rille) returned to earth 7 August 1971.

Apollo 16 launched 16 April 1972 landed on moon 20 April 1972 (Descartes) returned to earth 27 April 1972.

Apollo 17 launched 7 December 1972 landed on moon 11 December 1972 (Taurus-littrow) returned to earth 19 December 1972.

The objective of Apollo 11 was to set a national goal set by the president, John F. Kennedy. Apollo 11 was launched July 16, 1969 at 9:32 a.m. and landed on the moon. The entire mission lasted only eight days, three hours, 18 minutes, and 35 seconds. They landed in the pacific ocean on July 24, 1969 at 12:50 p.m.  It was rescued by USS hornet and Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldin were the astronauts that risked their life to be the first people to walk on the moon.

Apollo 13

James A. Lovell, Jr.John L. Swigert, Jr.Fred W. Haise, Jr. Apollo 13 was supposed to land in the Fra Mauro area. An explosion on board forced Apollo 13 to circle the moon without landing. The Fra Mauro site was reassigned to Apollo 14.

When Apollo 13 had engine problems it sent a tank that was a ticking time Bomb. next time it was filled with oxygen. That bomb exploded on April 13, 1970 - 200,000 miles from Earth.The date it was launched April 11, 1970
