A person's culture is strongly tied to the country where they grew up. It is tied to their relationship with their family. Many people come to America from so many different places all over the world. For those reasons thats why america is called the melting pot of cultures. The melting pot idea compares America to a giant soup pot. Each immigrant is an ingredient added to the pot. Each immigrant adds their own flavor. After each immigrant comes to America they connect to other people. People learn about each others culture. This is the beginning of the soup pot of America melting together.

Multicultural education is a way for students to express and share their culture with fellow classmates while learning about other cultures that are different from their own. By teaching multiculturalism, the teacher will create an understanding and a respect for all cultures. Multiculturalism education will widen the perspective of students and can lead to empowerment and human dignity. When teaching about multiculturalism, it is important for the teachers to stay current in their teaching by remaining open to what students’ values and interests are. Students will learn and gain a deeper appreciation for what is being taught if the lesson can be connected to their personal life experiences. This can be further implemented when teachers acknowledge the different learning abilities of their students. What if you don't see eye to eye?
If you don't see eye to eye with someone you're working with you can always find a way to get along with them. Maybe you don't get along with them, or you argue a lot. You can try to make a conversation about something you do get along with.
