What is Taxonomy? the branch of science concerned with classification, especially of organisms; systematics. These levels are called Taxon and they include Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, and Species.
Each organism has a 2part name: Genus and Species

Kingdom: Animalia- These organisms are multicellular and eukaryotic. Most animals are motile, meaning they can move around on their own. These organisms must eat other organisms for survival, making them heterotrophic.
Phylum: Chordate- Organisms in this phylum have a spinal cord and vertebrate at some point during their life.
Class: Mammal- a warm-blooded vertebrate animal of a class that is distinguished by the possession of hair or fur, the secretion of milk by females for the nourishment of the young, and (typically) the birth of live young.
Order: Carnivora- an order of eutherian mammals that are mostly carnivorous and have teeth adapted for flesh eating
Family: Canidae- They come from the canary islands
Genus: Canis- Contains 7 to 10 extant species including domestic dog , wolves, jackal, and many extinct species

Height: 21-25 inches(55 to 65 cm)
