In session 1, we learned about the basic aerodynamics. We also experimented with the software that simulates air flow.
In session 2, we examined the factors that change lift. We also began the construction of our wing.
In session 3, We completed the construction of our wing. We used chipboard, construction paper, glue, scissors and tape.
In session 4, we tested the amount of lift produced by wind flowing over our wing. We also explored the basic controls on a Cessna.
In session 5, we flew a Cessna using Flight simulation software.
In session 6, We performed some basic flight maneuvers using the Flight Simulator software. We also used a navigation plotter to determine the direction and distance of a flight being planned.
In session 7, we used the Fight Simulator software to test the accuracy of one of our calculations.
