Okla. Gay Marriage Ban Struck Down; Ruling on Hold

This article shows how state governments are making gay couples across the U.S. better by striking down homophobic laws that ban gay marriage. In Oklahoma, a voter-approved ban on gay marriage was ruled unconstitutional by U.S. District Judge Terence Kern, who states the ban as "an arbitrary, irrational exclusion of just one class of Oklahoma citizens from a governmental benefit."
