The climate of india can be classified as tropical. The main religion of india is Hinduism, and next is Islam and then Christianity. The National Capitol of india is New Delhi, and India received it's independence on August 15, 1947. India's main natural recources include coal, iron ore, bauxite, manganese and chromium. India has a population of 1.21 billion and covers 3.3 square miles.


Facts: Found in Africa and parts of southern Asia. They usually have brown or grey grizzled fur, and a number of species sport spotted coats. These furry creatures are terrestrial mammals, but some are semi-aquatic, and others like to stay in tree tops! They have long bodies, short legs and tapered snouts. They also live in burrows. These animals are known as nondiscriminary predators. Lastly, they love to go after deadly cobras, making most residents of india big fans of these furry little heros.

Cobra Facts!

There are many interesting things about cobras. First of all, they can reach up to 18 feet long! These snakes are the only snakes in the world that build a nest to store their eggs. These deadly snakes can live up to 20 years old! A fact that is a little disturbing and weird is that synthetic cobra venom is used in some pain medications! Surprised? Well, you don't have to worry about these snakes around here! They live only in rain forests, southern china, southern asia, and of course, India.
