Three Places You Should Visit As Soon As Can

Everyone requires a holiday at least once a year, or for some, once a month. Now what better way than spending these holidays touring the globe and experiencing other cultures and geographical wonders offered by Mother Nature. There are not many international holiday packages that would offer you these amazing places. So make sure you wisely choose the perfect holiday package that includes at least one of these marvellous places.

1. Glacier National Park

Somewhere about a hundred years ago, there were as many as 150 gigantic glaciers strewn throughout the entire Glacier National Park. However, with time, by the year 2005, only 27 of them have remained and even these natural wonders are expected to disappear by the end of year 2030, if not earlier. The several plant and animal species that consider the park as their home require cold waters and chilling weather, meaning the ecosystem of the park may change dramatically when the glaciers are gone.

2. Great Barrier Reef

It is said that the Great Barrier Reef is so large that it can also be seen from the outer space, just like the Great Wall of China. The sad part is that this magnificent reef is disappearing at a really high rate because of the drastic climatic changes that are happening on a daily basis. Rising ocean temperatures, water pollution, ocean acidification, and cyclones continually pummel the reef and have caused mass coral bleaching. What took 8,000 years for nature to create could disappear within our lifetimes. Therefore, you better take a trip here as soon as possible.

3. Alaskan tundra

The global warming heats up the Arctic twice as fast as the rest of the world. This means that Alaska’s beautiful northern tundra could vanish to a complete zero if the temperature of the earth keeps rising at its current pace. As the tundra’s permafrost melts, it not only drastically alters the ecosystem but also releases additional carbon—ironically hastening global warming
