What I learned about the copyright laws

I learned about the fair use act which In the U.S. is the copyright law the act that allows you to use somebodys work that is copyrighted and you have premission and gave credit for, how much you could use of the work. Also you can only use a limited amount.

I also learned about plagerisim more and how dangerous it is and what it is, which is the action of taking someone else's work or ideas and using them as one's own.

Another thing I learned is how long a copyrighted work last until it goes to the public domain, and it last 70 years after the creators death. Also a public domain it the state of belonging or being available to the public for everyone to use, and therefor not subject to copyright.

And last but not least I learned what copyright is, it is the legal right to be the only one to reproduce, publish, and sell a book, musical recording, and many others, for a certain period of time,or a limited amount.
