                                                               This is Mo Willems.

Mo Willems' childhood ambition was to draw and be funny in some way.

Willems won six Emmy Awards during his nine years with "Sesame Street."

In 2004 he won the Caldecatt Award for "Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus. "

Here are some of his books:

Willems has worked on several projects, but writing picture books is his favorite.

He was an only child of immigrants. Willems believed he found his storytelling talent while growing up in New Orleans.

The book I read was Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

It is about a pigeon who wants to drive a bus, but they don't let him. He gets mad, but he doesn't give up until the driver comes back and chases him off.
