Papa Doc and Baby Doc leader of Haiti in office

Francois Duvalier known as Papa Doc was the leader of Haiti form 1957 to 1971. His son Jean-Claude Duvalier known as Baby Doc took power after his dad Francois Duvalier died in 1971, but fled out after the Haitians chased him out. Papa Doc died by natural causes of a heart attack.

In 1963, Hurricane Flora, it was a category 2 hurricane but it devastated most of Haiti. It took lives and crops of most of the stuff in Haiti

The year 1964 was a dark year for many families in Haiti. A group of 13 young people, who had been exiled, formed a coalition to overthrow Duvalier in an invasion (calling themselves Jeune Haiti), and they were tracked down and killed one by one, at least one committed suicide as the mission came to a halt.

Francois Duvalier was the person that turned all of Haiti into a poor country after he was the leader of Haiti and his son Jean-Claude Duvalier. They also put many lives in danger by executing them and turning Haiti into a bad place.
