The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum
The US-HMM was established in 1993, and is dedicated to helping the people of the world confront hatred, prevent genocide, promote human dignity, and strengthen democracy. Inside of the museum, there are four exhibits; The Hall of Remembrance, the Permanent Exhibition, Remember the Children: Daniel's Story, and The Stephen Tyrone Johns Memorial. The museum holds many resources and stories about the Holocaust. It also has an institute dedicated to teaching about the Holocaust and helping prevent genocide.
