Power effects the Industrial Revolution because they needed power for running the machines. If we didn't have power, machines wouldn't work for example the water wheel is water power machine that runs when water moves the wheel. A electric car has the same amount of power as a gas car but, pollutes more. Power affects the economy because economy is money and money is power. The power loom was a steam-powered, mechanically operated version of a regular loom. A loom is a device that combined threads to make cloth, so power can help out a lot so people don't have to do it manually or take so long.
