Back to the desert, the desert is very risky and harsh for travels because the routes were dangerous they often got attacked and the lack of water, it wasn't good for them and camel's weren't cheap. So it took a lot of preparation before they could even start there journey.

The Oases were where the travels relied on because that's were the most shade was and water was. So a lot of outsiders came through, so they were at risked for what was coming. There main source was there palm tree's so if they cut them down then there place wasn't any good.

The coastal plain could have been very dangerous, if there was to much rain then the water could have over fill or if the weather was just bad the water could have been a big threat. It could have kill lots of farms because of the waves.

The mountains could have cause deaths because of the moving room and living on top of rocks. It took many years to carve through the mountain so they had to wait many year to "move in" the dams also could have been a problem.
