Lunch N' Learn
This Wednesday, October 22, we will have our first "Lunch N Learn" session in room 119! This is completely voluntary. Our admin team will be on lunch duty, so you will only have to walk your class up to the lunch room, and retrieve them when lunch is over. Come chew and chat in 119 about various topics of interest. Our first topic will be "Innovative Education". What do you know about this topic? Any stories you can share? Cool videos? This is casual - just exchanging thoughts and ideas. Please come join! :)
On Wednesday, 10/15, we were able to participate in our second Walkabout Wednesday! This time our focus was grouping! What a wonderful day of learning and sharing. Thank you to Mrs. Weaver, Ms. Garner, Mrs. Cornelison, Mrs. Curry, Mrs. McGee, and Coach Harper for opening up their doors for us! Also, thanks to Mr. Pahman, Ms. Johnson, Mrs. Breeden, Mrs. Sedberry, and Mrs. Merrill for letting us used your rooms for debrief.
Mrs. Weaver is beginning her 7th year here at Liberty. She teaches 7th grade language arts and reading lab with Mrs. Keith. She is extremely kind, focused, organized, and intelligent! Mrs. Weaver does a wonderful job with differentiating instruction, and has even taught a PD session on it for the district! She recently used an excellent way to manage groups in her room. See the pictures below. Connect in room 220 with Mrs. Weaver to learn how this strategy can work for you!
