A world war II story  of Survival, Resilience, and redemption.

Unbroken is a book about the story of Louis Zamperini. This book explain everything that he went through. He was a famous track star who broke several world records as well as he was in the army. It explains in detailed all the ups and downs in his life. Its pretty interesting and emotional. He got into an airplane crash which was really dangerous but after days without water and food, floating in the ocean. He survived.

“A lifetime of glory is worth a moment of pain.”

“We just sat there and watched the plane pass the island, and it never came back," he said. "I could see it on the radar. It makes you feel terrible. Life was cheap in war.”

"If you can take it, you can make it"

Why I liked it:

I really liked this book because every page had something interesting in it and it was well written. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it back down. What I didn't like was that it was really long, it's about 500 pages or more. Overall it was really exciting and fun to read mostly when it talked about his track carreer.
