My Journey

My likes, hobbies, and friends 7th grade to now.

7th Grade

7th grade year, in social studies, with my best friend since 1st grade.

Jason Derulo was my favorite singer in 7th grade. "Solo" was my favorite song.

I decided to try out for cheerleading for the first time since 4th grade and ended up loving it.

"The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me." -Ayn Rand

I also tried out for tennis and made new friends and had a lot of fun.

I started band my 6th grade year and made tons of new friends and ended up liking it a lot.

8th Grade

The first day of school with my friends Ashtyn.

I started listening to different genres of music my 8th grade year.

I did cheer for a second year in middle school. My 8th grade year of cheer was amazing. I made new friends and got really close with my team

"friends are the family we choose for ourselves."

Me and Ashtyn became really close throughout the year and she became one of my best friends.

A Day to Remember became one of my favorite bands.

My band directors are a little crazy but I wouldn't want anyone else to be yelling at me.

Vans were mine, and everyone else's, new favorite shoe brand.

9th grade

Me and one of my close friends, Cody, during the first week of school.

Bands became my life. Music has gotten me through everything.

I finally got to start marching band my freshman year and I absolutely loved it! I have made so many new friends and went to amazing places! I can't wait for my future years in band

My Future

I want to graduate Scottsburg High School with a Core 40 and Academic Honors.

I plan to attend Florida State University for four years.

I want to finish out my degree for law at Harvard and get my Bachelors' degree.

To the clASS OF 2019

I hope to then get a job as an attorney, get married, and have a family.

And that's where the real journey begins.

Don't be someone you're not. If someone doesn't like you or doesn't want to be your friend because you're being yourself then they weren't real anyways.

Be independent. Don't expect anything out of anyone.

If you're going to be in a relationship have fun and be best friends. Don't get too serious. You're in high school.

Homework sucks, I know but you need to do it.

Good Luck Freshman!
