Hedgehog population has dramatically decreased
These furry little animals need saving! In the 1950's there were over 30 million of these hedgehogs living in Britain. But, in 2001, there were just 1.8 million! that is a big decrease in this population. But how are they decreasing so quickly?Well, study shows that every year, over 50,000 hedgehogs die on these roads. People haven't been careful on the roads lately. Texting and driving, We don't usually see small animals on the roads. Which can lead to serious danger for the animals, specifically hedgehogs, and the people.So, as you can see, the hedgehog population is decreasing from 1950's to 2001. 30 million to 1 million.
