The Fault In Our Stars
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER
It is a story about the life of a 16 year old girl, named Hazel Grace Lancaster, who is suffering from lung cancer. Her parents forced her to go to a support group at a church and this is where she met a 17 year old Augustus Waters, who was amputated because he had cancer, and fell completely in love. The whole book is about her and him, living by taking each day as it comes. The Fault in our Stars is a mix between the life of cancer patients, of teenagers and, as you can figure it out...a love story.
I really liked this book. Since the first page through the last one, I could not stop reading, I was in the story; it was so captivating. I fell like I was Hazel. The author, John Green did a really good job for that. I read this book in only one week because I could not leave the story. The thing that I really like it that is that even if it talks about a girl that has cancer, it was not completely sad; there were parts were it was joyful, funny, ... every emotions were there.
“You realize that trying to keep your distance from me will not lessen my affection for you. All efforts to save me from you will fail.”
“Because you are beautiful. I enjoy looking at beautiful people, and I decided a while ago not to deny myself the simpler pleasures of existence”
