Summer Adventure MMXV
My Summer Adventure 2015.
My Homeroom is room #305, which is Ms. Tysdahl's Classroom. We are studying Ancient Rome this year and we are currently learning about the Roman Army. We have created a roman numeral out of sticks, and we have made shields.
Elective #1- Technology Treasures
Tech Treasures was fun because we got to play a lot of computer games. I liked to create video games on Scratch and play Learn 2 fly. The game I'm the most proud of is Tennis because it took a lot of coding and was much smoother and better than its prequel, Atari Pong.
Elective #2- Computer Programming
I like computer programming because coding is really cool to do. (Note: Coding is not just for hackers or the FBI. You know how Minecraft was created? Notch coded. New Super Mario Bros.? Miyamoto coded.) I've created a few codes myself. Here's a simple one to draw a triangle.
moveforward (100) turnright (120) moveforward (100) turnright (120) moveforward (100)
A coding site I use and a game I made are below.
Elective #3- Super Summer Science
In Super Summer Science we did some things about space. We saw footage of the first man on the moon and other cool videos. My favorite thing we did was Create-a-planet. As you can probably guess, we created planets.
