The people in Japan that went to the performing arts center watched musicians, jugglers, and the acrobats. The painting the Tale of GENJI was the best painting in Japan. In visual arts the most popular arts forms of the period were paintings, calligraphy, and architecture. In architecture they made building wood with tiled roofs and open space. And Japans best statue was the Buddha. And when the Buddha came it changed Japanese culture. The water kept the japan people from seeing each other and families. Then the people who they called the nobles showed up and helped japan create arts and fashion.
