Vicki's greatest accomplishment:
Victoria saved sixteen 1st graders from being killed on December 14th, 2012.
She heard the gunshots and hid her kids in cabinets and closets.
When the gunman came in and she told him her kids were in the gym.
Some of the kids panicked and went out of their hiding spots.
He shot at them and Victoria blocked the bullets with herself.
This is why we think Victoria is a hero. Vicki could have hid herself in the closets and stayed alive but instead she risked her life for some kids she didn't know as well as she should have. We hope to grow up to be someone like her to do something worth remembering to help those who truly need it.
Victoria Soto is a role model. She is not only a good person overall but a kind heart and a true hero.
