Industrial Revolution, Thomas Philpot, Hour 5
Innovation, we all have heard it but do we really know what it means. Innovation is the process of innovating which is to make changes to something in established by introducing new methods, ideas or products. In the Industrial Revolution innovation meant everything. Not only did people start to invent new things but people also started coming up with new methods for everything. Such as power. People use to use water wheels as the power source but that soon changed into it being steam power that people used. Another example is that people went from having to make fabric and spin cotton by themselves to having machines do it for them. Really all that the industrial revolution was is a time where innovation became popular.
