Drug/Alcohol Abuse

Garrett Carrico

Have you ever wondered how many people have drug/alcohol abuse? Statistics show that 23.5 million people aged twelve or older needed treatment for drug/alcohol abuse in 2012.Of these, only 2.6 million—11.2 percent of those who needed treatment—received it at a specialty facility. Statistics show most drug/alcohol abuse is by teens from the age of 12 to 23.

If you are doing drugs or alcohol I encourage you to go to therapy because the rate of people dying from alcohol is rising day by day and the longer you wait the less time you have to live life.
