The Water Ecosytems
By Christopher Bowen
There are many ecosystems on our planet. Oceans are the largest oour ecosystems. They contain salt water. Within the ocean there are many smaller ecosystems. Dolphins, Kelp, and Flounder are animals found in the sea.
Streams are freshwater ecosystems. Water in streams is cool and flows fast. Trout, Catfish, and Crawfish and survive in fast flowing water. Moss attaches itself to the rocks at the bottom of the streams.
Ponds are freshwater ecosystems that are still. Water lillies grow in still water. Salamanders and frogs in the ponds eat other insects. Leeches live at the bottom of ponds.
