Is This Fair
Do We Nave Rights?
Hello fellow Colonists, it has come to my concern that England has been passing acts that have been hurting lives. The Quartering Act is forcing us to house and support enemy soldiers. We already struggle to support our own families. How is it fair that we must support disrespectful soldiers in our home as well as our own families?
Another act that hurts us is the Navigation Act. We already are taxed on tea, stamps, envelopes, and official documents just to name a few. Why should we be taxed on our own resources? This is how we support our own families. We have the ability to trade with other countries. England has taken this from us too. They have lowered the price of our recourses making it more difficult to afford our families what we needed to thrive.
The Tea Act is the worst act of England so far. Why is it fair that we need to pay taxes on the one drink we all enjoy multiple times a day? How is it that England gets paid for every sip of tea we have?
Who is ready to separate from England with me? Thomas Paine says, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way. " I stand with him. If you are ready join us to free us from Britians hold. Or just go back to Britain.
"The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection." This show that even thought America might of lost this war they would still try to win.
"to propose to that respectable body to declare the United Colonies free and independent States, absolved from all allegiance to, or dependence upon, the Crown or Parliament of Great Britain".
"This Day the Congress has passed the most important Resolution, that ever was taken in America."

Theses quotes relate to these events because they refer to America breaking apart from Britain.
