Brain tumor’s are not rare. The brain is the most important organ in the body because it controls your five senses, your ability to talk, ability to walk around, the right side of the brain controls the left side of the brain and the left side controls the right side of your brain, the brain is very soft, spongy mass of tissue but it is protected by all the bones in your brain and 3 thin membranes that are called meninge.Opinion:

I choose Brain Cancer because most of my dad’s side of family had it and my great grandma and grandpa both had it and died from it so it means a lot to me and I want to find out about it,another reason why I choose Brain Cancer is because if one of my family members get it I would be able to tell them so symptoms about having cancer and how it affects your life.Rachael’s Brain Cancer Story:

In Rachael’s story she has had a GBM (Glioblastoma Multiform)grade IV brain cancer (most aggressive brain cancer) Rachael has had brain cancer for 5 years but Rachel and her husband have only been married for only a 1 year. One year Rachel was getting ready for a super bowl party and she went to get ready in the bathroom then had a grand mal seizure then Rachel's husband then rushed into their bathroom and found Rachael on the floor having a seizure, then rushed her to the hospital, the hospital told her she would have to get the tumor removed.

Current event:

After Rachel being rushed to the hospital the hospital told her family she had a brain tumor.Rachael and her husband left Fargo ND to go to seattle WA where she was getting her tumor removed, she had her tumor resected however the doctors were only able to resect 80% and 90% of the tumor, since she had the tumor removed from her the left side of her head she was paralyzed on all of her right side after doing physical therapy for a month they got her started on treatment Rachael was on a standard treatment which consisted of radiation and oral chemotherapy.Opinion:

My opinion about Rachel's story is I really care about it because if she was not able to get the tumor removed she would possibly be paralyzed for the rest of her life and would have to be helped with everything. The other reasonwould possibly be paralyzed for the rest of her life and would have to be helped with everything. The other reason I care.
