8MEH.2.2 The Decision Making Model
What do I do?
A not so popular girl asked me to a sleep over at a birthday party, & I accepted. Then, one of the most popular people in my school, that I've been trying to become friends for a long time asked me to attend a boy-girl party. I talked to my friends & they're all going to the boy-girl party. I talked to my parents & they said it's my decision, but I should go with the person who I accepted first. What do I do?
I can go to the sleepover with the girl who isn't popular, or I can go to the boy-girl party with all the popular people.
If I go to the sleepover, my friends might not be my friends anymore. If I go to the boy-girl party, I might hurt this girls feelings & that wouldn't be fair.
If I go to the sleepover, I wont get in any trouble. But, if I go to the boy-girl party I could get drunk or get in a fight. I don't want to get in any trouble.
I'm going to go to the sleepover. So what if she's not the most popular girl in school? She's nice & we have a lot in common. The only thing me & my other friends have in common is our clothes style & the guys we think are cute.
