Haiku Poems

Haiku poems consist of three lines. The first line of five syllables, second line of seven syllables, and the third line of five syllables. These poems are mostly about nature and the events of nature. Haiku's originated in Japan. This is one of the shortest versions of poetry. They are shorted version of Japanese poetry.

Over the wintry

forest, winds howl in rage

with no leaves to blow.
