Joan Of Arc

Joan was from NorthEastern France, she was born in 1412. She lived in a small village and was always a hard worker.Joan's Father had planned a married for her but   Joan went to the court and said she should not be forced to get married.   Joan began to hear voices at age 13 and she thought that it was God giving her a overwhelming  mission to save France. Joan was determined to receive permission from prince Charles to lead the French Army in battle ( without any military training ). After getting permission Joan Of Arc lead france in war. France and their english allies won the battle. Later  Joan was captured by Anglo-Burgundian forces and burned. She was killed at age 19. Joan of Arc was considered One of history's greatest saints.

Alexander The Great

Alexander The Great (Macedonian king Alexander) was born 356 B.C. . His Parents were Philip II and Queen Olympia. He was born in Pella Greece . Alexander died at 32 from marlaia. when he was 19 he became king. He lead his kingdom to defeat the Persian Empire.Alexander the great had two sons born from two different women,Herakles son of Alexander's mistress Barsine and Alexander IV, son of Roxane. However both of his sons were killed before becoming adults.

Joan of arc and Alexander the great were alike in some ways but the biggest way was both of them were strong brave leaders who always fought, and believed in themselves. They would risk the on life to save others
