A clique is a group of people who are known to commonly hang together.

An example of members in a clique come from the movie Mean Girls where the main characters , "The Plastics", are known as the main clique.

The commonalities the clique share are that the are all pretty girls, who are rich, and everyone envies them. The rules to being in their group are; you wear pink on Wednesdays, you can only wear track pants or jeans on Fridays, you can't wear a tank top two days in a row and you can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week.

In "The Plastics", the leader was Regina George, Karen Smith was the dumb one who messed around with a lot of guys, and Gretchen Weiners was the one who was in-the-know about everything. Other cliques in the movie were the asian nerds, the cool asians, the j.v. jocks, the varsity jocks, and the ROTC guys. I believe that all of the girls are in this group just to remain relevant and popular around the school.

I do not think the plastics would be able to fit in here at RMHS because there are a lot of people who would probably destroy their self-esteems. This movie is not very accurate at all about the clique in real life. The satire in the movie mocks cliques in actual high schools.
