Neil Armstrong was born August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta,Ohio and died August 25,2012. He was an American astronaut and the first person to walk the moon. He was also a University Professor, Naval Aviator, Test Pilot, and a Aerospace Engineer. Before becoming an astronaut, Armstrong was an officer in the U.S Navy and served in the Korea Before becoming an astronaut, Armstrong was an officer in the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. After the war, he earned his bachelor's degree at Purdue University and served as a test pilot at the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics High-Speed Flight Station, now known as the Dryden Flight Research Center, where he logged over 900 flights. Neil was a father of 3 children, Mark Armstrong, Eric Armstrong, and Karen Armstrong. His wife Carol Heidi Knight were married from 1994-2012. The longest time in space was 8 days,14 Hours, 12 Minutes, and 30 seconds. Armstrong Lived a long adventurous life and was the first man to every land on the moon. His two Mission he completed was the Apollo 11 and the Gemini 8. His life was fulfilled with out of the ordinary things and he will always be remembered in history.
