The Reason for an Exclave
What is an exclave?
A portion of a country which is geographically separated from the main part by surrounding foreign territory or physical features.
Examples of Exclaves
An example of an exclave would be Lesotho in South Africa. It is a self governing country which is surrounded by South Africa. This can be problematic due to the fact that if the countries don't get along it will cause tension or isolation for the exclave.
