British Imperialism in India

For my British Imperialism in India mini-project I chose that the British coming into India was helpful more than harmful.  Reason number 1.  The British laid the third worlds largest railroad in India. Railroads brought unity to disconnected regions in India.      They did that so they could get around a lot easier than just walking everywhere they go.  I think that was really helpful.  Reason number 2.  Telegraph and telephone lines were introduced into India so that the people could communicate better.    Reason number 3.  The first schools and colleges were founded.  They didm that so the people in India could be educated and not be as smart.  The British did do some harmful things in India like cash crops made it impossible for small farmers to produce enough food for themselves.  This was harmful because the British took all of their crops to keep and when it was time for the farmers to eat they didn't have anything to eat.  So in conclusion I think that British coming into India was a very good things because if the British hadn’t came India would not be as close as they are today.

I think you did a pretty good job but, you need to space out each different point.

Did you mean that the railroad was the world's third largest, or that the railroad was the largest in the third world?
You should have a different paragraphs for each reason

I agree with your side of the argument. But you should go into more detail next time.
