A murder takes place in the quiet town of Holcomb. In the story you will experience a 5 year period of a detective and others trying to put together the murder. They will experience difficulties when there is absolutely no evidence and no witnesses during and after the murder.
The mood of the story is exciting, suspenseful, traumatic, and intriguing.
The moral of the book was that what goes around comes around. Don't expect to commit a crime and not have consequences,
I would recommend this book to people who love crime scenes and investigation. If you are a person who loves shows like: Criminal Minds, Law & Order, How To Get Away With Murder and many others .
Opinion and Connections
I really loved this book.I thought it was cool to see what it was like to be a detective. At the same time get to experience the victims life and the suspects life. I made connections with this book because today in America there are murders going on everyday. Since I have never experienced anything like this it was cool to be able to kind of see how it feel and what it is like.
