The coniferous forest has an average temperature of 50 degrees Fahrenheit. In the coniferous forest, they have cold snowy winters. In the winter they only get a few hours of sunlight if they are lucky. In the summer it is warm and humid, and they can also get up to twenty hours of sunlight. In summer the forest can average of ten to twenty inches of rain per year. In the coniferous forest, the fall is a very short season, warmer than winter but colder than summer. The spring all the animals come out of hibernation and prepare for summer.
The precipitation in the coniferous forest is 300 to 900 millimeters of rain per year (eleven to thirty five inches). All winter there is snow on the ground though. In my opinion, the snow that the forest receives in the winter can affect the precipitation. I think that because, they receive a very large amount of snow in the winter.
Plants in the Coniferous
Some of the plants that grow in the coniferous are Paper Birch, Jack Pine, and Siberian Spruce. Paper Birch have very thin barks, they can come in separate (by their selves) or they can come in a bundle (a bunch together), also they are used for many things, one thing is a Popsicle stick. Jack Pine can grow to be twenty-seven meters tall or as short as a scrub. Also a Siberian Spruce is a tall tree, it has needle leaves, and it has slightly drooping branches.

Narrative About Coniferous
You may ask, how do you get food and water in the coniferous forest, but getting water would be very simple because there is water in a lot of places in the coniferous where there is water. For food you could eat plants or if you wanted you could hunt and kill wildlife. And if you were just dropped off there, how would you have shelter, what would you build? Well me personally, if I had to build a shelter I would use trees that fell as my building. I would use old animal fur as a carpet, and an old caucus to sleep on. Some different elements you might reach in the coniferous is that there is a lot of larger animals so it would be tough to kill smaller animals. Also that the winter you might have a hard time getting to plants for food and animals would be in hibernation, and in summers it might get very humid so you might have a hard time with the heat. Three tips on survival would be, to prepare for the winter and keep food for the winter, to have a secret place for hiding out from everyone, and to be careful because of the large animals.
