Morocco Dining Etiquette
Megan Everhart and Alexa Baldwin
In Morocco they have to follow these dining rules. First they sit on a carpet/mat on a floor around a large communal plate. They also have to eat from a communal bowl/ plate that is closest to them. They will never put their hands in their mouths because they will have to use them again. In Morocco they only eat with their right hand. If there are bones in a food called tajine, they have to suck out the marrow or just dont take the bone. When they drink tea they hold it high in the air before they pour it to make the "fez" (the bubbly rings around the inside of the cup).
