India's "Golden Age"
Started by Maharaja Sri Gupta
The Gupta Empire truly was India's "Golden Age" because after the Gupta Empire ended India dropped off of the long line of history in the world. Golden Age also means a time where a culture is in peace and prosperity and they make many great cultural contributions.
The contributions that the Gupta Empire made were the decimal system, Arabic numerals, and the concept of zero.
The Gupta Empire was in the subcontinental area of India. Other than the Guptas contributions to math, they also made contributions in science, technology, engineering, art, literature, logic, astronomy, religion, and philosophy.
