CPR

Adult CPR

Step1- check the scene

step2- check the patient (tap the shoulders or the collar bone)

Step3- Acctivate EMS if alone activate EMS after unresponsiveness is found. Come back to provide care. If asphyxial is lickley call after 2 minutes or 5 cycles of CPR.

Step4- compressions (push hard and fast) 30:2 at a rate of at least 100 per minute. Use 2 hands the heel of 1 hand in the center of the chest place other hand on top depth at least 2 inches.


Child CPR

Step1- check the scene

Step2- check the patient (tap the shoulder or the collar bone)

Step 3- If completely alone: Go activate EMS after 5 cycles or 2 minutes of CPR. For a sudden witnessed collapse, activate EMS after unresponsiveness is found. Come back to provide care.

Step 4- Compressions (press hard and fast) 30:2 at a rate at least 100 per minute. Use 1 or 2 hands Place the hell of 1 hand in the center of the chest , if needed place the other hand on top. depth at least 1/3 depth of the chest.

Infant CPR

Step1- check the scene.

Step 2 - check the patient (tap the shoulder or the collar bone)

Step 3- If completely alone: Go activate EMS after 5 cycles or 2 minutes of CPR. For a sudden witnessed collapse, activate EMS after unresponsiveness is found. Come back to provide care.

Step4- Compressions (press hard and fast) 30:2 at a rate at least 100 per minute. Use 2 fingers on the breastbone just bellow the nipple line. Depth at least 1/3 of the chest.


Unconcious Choking Adult/Child/Infant

Adult, child, and infant give 30 chest compressions

Open the airway and check for the foreign body, if you see the object sweep it out with a finger. For infant use pinky.

Give 2 breaths if breaths dont make chest rise reposition the head and reattempt rescue breaths. Continue compressions, foreign body check, breathing attempts until air goes inand chest rises

If victim is still unconscious and not breathing normally, continue CPR withcycles of 30 compressions to 2 breaths.

If the victim vomits, roll the victim on his side and clear out his airway. After the airway is cleared. Roll the victim back and continue care.

Contious Choking Adult/child

Step1- ask if they are choking

Step2- Acctivate EMS (adult/child) stand behind the victim with one foot in-between the victims feet and your other foot behind you. Place the flat side of your fist just above the patients belly button. Grab the back of your fist with your other hand. Give abdominal thrusts, pulling inward and upward, until the object comes out or the patient becomes unconscious.


Contiuos Choking Infant

Step1- Support the infant’s face and place body on your forearm.

Step2- Keep the infants head lower than there feet.

Step3- GIve 5 back blows between the shoulder blades with the palm of your hand.

Step4- Support the infant’s head, turn the baby over onto your other forearm, give 5 chest thrusts.

Step5- Continue back blows and chest thrusts until object comes out or infant becomes unconscious.

special circumstances if the patient is too big or pregnent give chest thrusts instead.



Atreal Bleeding

If you come upon a patient that is need of care, you firstget the wound above the heart. Then you apply pressure to the wound, then apply a gaws pad while keeping pressure. Then you rap it up in a big bandage (make it tight) then you leave some then you tie it off tightly and get them to the hospital as fast as possible.
