Usually on Thanksgiving I smell all the food from the candy yams to the green bean casserole. But this time I smelt nothing because this year my family decided to have Thanksgiving at my uncles restaurant where the whole family even the ones from Texas where coming. I've always been the black sheep of the family so I was not really looking forward to the rest of the day. I got ready like I would any other day and around 12:30 we decided to leave. When we got there it was empty my grandma had us leave early because she wanted us to help set everything up, just my luck isn't it? We were pretty much done setting up and everybody starts walking in one after another all smiling and hugging me acting like they really like me. After everyone's here there about 50 of us maybe more we all gather around and say our grace and what were thankful for and of course one of my uncles has to make some jokes. I had to wait in a long line to get my food my Aunt Bernie was holding up the line she's like 70 years old and about 4 feet tall with gray/brown hair and she's about 80% def so you can just imagine how long it took her to get done in line. Once I got my food it was just a lot of sitting and talking for the next three hours. sense there was so many of us for desert my uncle rented out a red center were the desert would be and all the kids could run around and play. I was tired and didn't feel like going so me and my mom had decided to just go home. From what everyone said it was fun and everything but I'm still happy I didn't go.
