The Flynn School of Business is located in an urban setting, downtown Manhattan, New York, at 14 Wall Street.  Our school is just a short walk from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) , in the heart of the Financial District.  At the Flynn School of Business, you will learn what the text books teach you on the theory of finance, but we also combine this with real world experience and social responsibility.  On a weekly basis, you will have a class on the floor of the NYSE observing traders as they buy and sell securities in response to economic news and other factors. You will learn about finance, economics, business principles, ethics and social responsibility.  The mission of our school is to develop a new generation of Finance professionals prepared to influence financial markets in a responsible manner, without harming others.

Our students come from all over the world.  We have representation from all 50 U.S. states. There are over 1,000 students in our school, on average there are 20 students in each class. The ratio of professors to students is 1:20.  Our classes run each day from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with evening sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our professors all hold Master's level degrees, many teachers are also certified Financial Planners, with over 500 years of collective Wall Street experience.

Students are given a laptop for use in group meetings and off premise sessions. Each classroom is equipped with desktop computers, a Smart Board and stock exchange quote boards. Each student will be assigned an advisor to assist in course scheduling and other academic matters. We have guidance counselors and a dean of students available to help you with any and all issues that come up related to our program, your studies, your grades and other challenges.

Students receive report grades on a tri semester basis. Every 2 months a progress report will be issued to help highlight successes or early warning on areas that need more attention. Students are motivated to learn by the interesting course material as well as interaction with our NYSE partners. Every year, the top 10% of the graduating class is offered an internship opportunity with a NYSE member firms. Many of our graduates have prominent positions at financial firms and support  our program by mentioning graduates. Apply by January 31, for classes that start March 1.
