Last year during FUT 13 there were 10 different squads featuring the season’s best overall performances, divided into leagues except for the first release and the ‘overall best players’ weekend release, combined with a variety of special pack offers. FIFA 14 Xbox 360 Coins The 10 squads were NOT all released at once and the TOTW (Team of the Week) still ran as normal! The 10 squads released last year, along with their release times can be seen below:

First TOTS: Silver/Bronze Most Consistent But Never IF 6pm (UK time), May 8th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), May 15th 2013.

Second TOTS: Gold Most Consistent But Never IF 6pm (UK time), May 8th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), May 15th 2013.

Week One of TOTS had two entire teams of 18 inserted into packs concurrently. With 36 “premium” informs released at the same time, many people bought many packs during this time frame. While there were a few big names, for the most part this was a week in which you were probably better off not spending too much on the special release packs, especially considering the highly sought after BPL TOTS was coming next. The players featured here could not have had an in-form during the season. xbox 360 ultimate team coins This made this release fairly weak, as the top players most likely did have an in-form at some point.

Third TOTS: Barclays Premier League (BPL) - 6pm (UK time), May 15th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), May 22nd 2013.

Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero, Juan Mata, David Gerrard, Santi Cazorla and more were featured, and this year should be no different. These issues averaged close to 750,000 coins apiece and with 18 in packs for a week, they weren’t impossible pulls. During the whole TOTS run, EA also released a TOTW each Wednesday as usual. That puts 36 total in-forms in packs per week, and 54 in week one.

Fourth TOTS: Bundesliga - 6pm (UK time), May 22nd 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), May 29th 2013.

A highly anticipated release, these players were easier to pull from packs than would be imagined. This had to do with the fact that many people on a budget (like we all are) had spent their money and coins in the first 2 weeks.

Fifth TOTS: Serie A - 6pm (UK time), May 29th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), June 5th 2013.

This was a so-so group, as there were several quality players (Balotelli was a memorable one- for being extremely dominant but also because no one figured he’d make the squad because he’d only spent half the season in Serie A) but this TOTS offering was caught between the BPL and Bundesliga releases, and the upcoming La Liga release.

Sixth TOTS: Ligue 1 - 6pm (UK time), June 5th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), June 12th 2013.

Seventh TOTS: Benelux (Eredivisie & Belgian Pro League) - 6pm (UK time), June 7th 2013 until 6pm (UK time), June 10th 2013.

If you look at the dates, you will notice that the Eredivisie/Pro League release was “land-locked” inside the Ligue 1 release. Available for just 3 days, the “Benelux” TOTS was unspectacular, besides one unbelievable silver CB (Kouyte, 87 pace, 80 defense, 84 heading) that would prove to be the most desired Silver issue, ever. The Ligue 1 release was highlighted by Ibra and Thiago Silva, and was also mildly spectacular at best.

Eighth TOTS: Marca La Liga (BBVA) – 6pm (UK time), June 12th 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), June 19th 2013.

Everyone was anticipating this release anxiously. It proved to be a near replica of the earlier TOTY release (which was all BBVA except for Thiago Silva) so it really just added more of the same. Oddly enough, the TOTY cards, when compared to the TOTS counterparts, remained the higher rated cards. Looking at Falcao, Messi, Ronaldo and everyone else that had both TOTY and TOTS issues, you can see that the previously released TOTY cards were superior in every single in-game statistic.

Ninth TOTS: EASFC - 6pm (UK time), June 21st 2013 until 5.30pm (UK time), June 23rd 2013.

This was a compilation of all of the best TOTS players, re-released, giving players a chance to get them in packs for one more weekend.

Tenth TOTS: MLS All-Stars - July 31st 2013 until 5:30pm (UK time), August 7th 2013.

As one would expect, this was not a very newsworthy end to the TOTS releases.

You can expect something similar this year, running from May – June. With the football season coming to a close, this extremely hyped event is exactly what FUT 14 needs to bridge the gap between the end of Fifa 14 and the start of 2015! read more: fifa xbox coins
