In session 1 we learned about the the inventors of the first plane and also. The stuff leading up to the invention of the 1st plane built by the Wright brothers.
In session 2 we made miniature models of wings and traced them and cut them out of cardboard. And later on we learned about the flow of the air and drag etc on a planes wing.
In session 3 we glued our cut out cardboard pieces and put them on construction paper. And then we folded the paper over and taped it down, that was the construction of our wing.
In session 4 we tested the flight of our wing and how stable it was. And the amount of drag it had and saw how high it could glide with the wind machine.
In session 5 we learned how to fly a plane using the flight simulator. And we also learned more about the back story of the invention of flight.
In session 6 we continued to fly in the flight simulator game and learn more about flyitng planes. We learned more about what the gadgets around the plane do and what their purpose is.
In session 7 we learned how use coordinates on map and we pin pointed where we were going to fly today. We flew on the flight simulator to our destination we had made. Flight simulator can be compared to being a pilot it. Can help the when they are first learing how to fly planes or learning about how to coordinate to places using coordinates.
